Race for the Cure Salute to Survival Guyana Mural Relay For LIfe Donations
The reason for the umbrella came about during a “Relay For Life”. The rain made last summer’s event dreary. Joni thought how bright color could change ones attitude during the walk for next year – And Walaaa! she designed her very first umbrella with a kalidoscope motif. The floral umbrella will be utilized for fundraisers for Breast Cancer Research. Presently, “J C Relyea First Bloom Collection” will be donating a portion to The Susan Komen Foundation. Paintings that have been donated to the American Cancer Society, auctioned, and for fundraisers are all original paintings.
“My passion for painting has helped those put a little color in their everyday lives. We are all fragrant, and each one of us are special in our own way of life.” Says Joni, “May we find a cure for all cancers, all illinesses, and use one of our talents to help.
Perhaps, many of you have a dream to help others- Just do it! Its wonderful to dream!”
